When people talk or hear about Santorini the first thing that springs to mind are areas like Oila, Imerovigli and Firostefani!
The truth is that Santorini is not only these areas and have magnificent places all over the island.
One of these areas is Akrotiri, the quiet place that is overlooking at Caldera and Oia which is situated at the other edge of Santorini!
Also, there are many quality hotels there…one of which is Kalestesia, the hotel that gave hospitality to this particular wedding!

Iraclis (Hercules) and Stella (well…Stella…this is a universal name) are people of a remarkable quality!
That was obvious even from our first communication.
It surprised me the fact that they knew a lot about Santorini. How could be otherwise, since Stella’s family own the hotel that the wedding was held at (link bellow at credits).
Wonderful place and in combination with the perfect job that Melin and Olympia from Motif events did (link bellow at credits), only a successful result should be expected…and that was met!!
Both Iraklis and Stella got ready at Kalestesia hotel. Apparently, almost all the guests were staying at the hotel as well.
The wedding ceremony took place at Akrotiri villages church and the reception obviously back at the hotel.
The only problem we faced was the lack of time for the “wedding portraits” photo session! So we just stayed within a walking distance from the church and managed to get some photographs in a ten minutes timeframe just before the light disappeared!! ….now it was time for the party 🙂
Congratulations once again Irakli and Stella and my dearest best wishes to all three of you…..(well yes, the family is growing but I guess you noticed that already at the photographs)!
