About
Mykonos photographer. This post is about a lovely couple from USA that I photographed at the island of Mykonos just a few days ago!
Phillip and Brittany
Phillip had planed everything, the trip, the engagement proposal, the engagement photography session…everything!
The Mykonos Photo tour
It was priorly decided to split our “portraiture” photography session at Mykonos in two parts.
In order to avoid the strong midday contrasty light, which photographically in many cases is not the ideal and also in that way Phillip and Brittany would have some rest as well!
Days schedule
Both the photographer (me 🙂  and the couple arrived at Mykonos island on the same day that we planned the engagement and portraiture photography session –  photo tour.
As soon as my plane landed, I took a car and picked Phillip and Brittany from the harbour.
Our photo tour began.
Less visited Mykonos areas
We started at the less visited parts of the island, which obviously attract less people but they offer picturesque photographic opportunities!
Three hours there, photographing this beautiful couple and I could easily continue for many hours more but it was time for their check in at the hotel.
After all, they had already travelled by boat from Athens and furthermore there was still some jet lag effects from their trip from U.S. to Greece.

Mykonos town (Hora)
In the afternoon, we continued their photographic portraiture experience at Hora of Mykonos.
We started our portraits photographs at the famous and trademark of Mykonos site, the windmills.
Continued with the surprise engagement proposal at a nearby quiet chapel by the sea.
That was secretly arranged between me and Phillip.
Brittany didi not have a clue on what was about to happen!

Wedding portraits walking photo tour in Mykonos town (Hora)
After their engagement we continued our walking photo tour.
Small alleys, with people, without people, little Venice (another well known Mykonos site) and ended our photography session at Panagia Paraportiani (you guessed right….one more well known place in Mykonos).
Congratulations
We keep in touch with Phillip and Brittany but it is still a good opportunity to congratulate them once again and send them my very best wishes and vibes!!
