Will you Marry me?
The “will you marry me?” photograph is part of a proposal and portraiture session portfolio in Santorini island!
This photograph belongs to the “randomly picked photographs” series.
What I particularly like about this picture is the natural and authentic woman’s reaction to the surprise proposal.
Also, the fact that both the proposal as well as the natural majestic Oia and Santorini landscape were captured!
Simplicity in style and mood.
While both color and black and white format, worked well, I decided to present the color version.
By the way, on every project, I deliver each image both in color and black and white format.

METHODS AND TECHNIQUES REGARDING A SURPRISE PROPOSAL – Will you marry me?
Most people believe that the best method is to have a photographer capturing the moment as a paparazzi, hidden somewhere and using a telephoto lens.
Well, that is not the ideal way to photograph a surprise proposal! There are other ways to photograph (even to shoot video) a secret proposal and capture from a close distance authentic feelings, expressions….the moment! Without of course the other half getting suspicious!
IDEAL SPOTS
Throughout the years and after photographed so many surprise proposals and in so many places, I now know the ideal and best spots that exist in Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, Thessaloniki, Halkidiki and in most places in Greece! Priorly to the big date all details are talked, explained and agreed with the interested person.
