Location portraiture
Here is a location portraiture portfolio with images shoot on various events and occasions such as “wedding portraits”, engagements, proposals, travel memories, solo portrait sessions, birthdays etc.
Greek destinations
Santorini, Mykonos, Athens, Crete, Thessaloniki, Halkidiki, Ios are just a few Greek destinations that I am usually called to photograph location portraiture at..
What is location portraiture in photography
As you might suspect, “on location” refers to photography portraiture shoots that happen outside of a photographer’s studio. This could be outside in a public space like a park, outside in a private space like an estate courtyard, inside in a public space like a coffee shop, or inside in a private space like your home office.
Does location matter in photography
In photography, location is integral to the overall mood and effect of a photograph, and as such, it takes on an important role in planning your shot. There are many reasons why a photographer should consider including this element in their work.
Do photographers choose the location?
It’s thought that clients are the ones who choose the location for their portraits, but more often than not, choosing the right location is left entirely up to the photographer (and that is a rewarding choice 🙂
