The story

My new friends from Japan got married a year ago and arranged a cruise at the Mediterranean sea for this year.

One of the places at schedule was the island of Mykonos.

We had a swift arrangement and as soon as I saw them approaching at the place we were meeting, I knew it was them although we did not know each others face.

We started from Mykonos trademark…the windmills, then we stroll within the alleys of Mykonos and ended our photo session at the Pentaportiani church.

These photographs are a small sample of our photo session.

When a couple books a “wedding portraits” photo session with me, I always hear their preferences and the images they expect. After that a location or several locations are selected and a plan is made for the day!

Testimonial

and this is their message after viewing the photographic results …. “Now we are really happy to see your amazingly excellent photos. We like them very much! They easily remind us of beautiful Mykonos island, our happy honeymoon days and exciting photo shooting time with you! So, grateful!!”

Information about Mykonos

A few words about Mykonos

Mykonos (/ˈmɪkəˌnɒs/, /ˈmɪkəˌns/;[1] Greek: Μύκονος [ˈmikonos]) is a Greek island, part of the Cyclades, lying between Tinos, Syros, Paros and Naxos. The island spans an area of 85.5 square kilometres (33.0 sq mi) and rises to an elevation of 341 metres (1,119 feet) at its highest point. There are 10,134 inhabitants (2011 census), most of whom live in the largest town, Mykonos, which lies on the west coast. The town is also known as Chora (i.e. the Town in Greek, following the common practice in Greece when the name of the island itself is the same as the name of the principal town).

Mykonos’s nickname is The island of the winds.[2][3] Tourism is a major industry and Mykonos is well known for its vibrant nightlife and for being a gay-friendly destination with many establishments catering for the LGBT community.[
